The natural oak grows in temperate European and Asian forests and on the American continent and present a typical brown turning to yellow colour. It is widespread on the hills and mountain slopes of Western Europe, particularly in Italy between the Alpine and pre-alpine valleys. Oak parquet has a medium texture and straight fibres with good hardness, stability and durability, qualities that improve in particularly seasoned wood.
